The medieval setting just captured me.
The canals

The ominous spires of the cathedrals looming over the old city
So how could I not spend some time in Bruges.

There is the quick one
on a weekend
bit of the spur of the moment
by yourself just get away
On others the planning is long
The excitement building
This weekend was a quicky
with some friends
Into the mountains for the weekend

A rickety old isolated hotel
fires burning against the cold
