Its a cool late summer night in Melbourne
The moon is near full
Casting her silver ribbon toward me
The breeze is light
The water carries barely a ripple
Life is beautiful
And even in the darkest moments the moon shines her love in her light.

The heavenly goddess
Rising from the remnants of industrial decay
An old abattoir
Now parkland that were once holding pens for slaughter
Waterways once polluted now revived
Renewal
I had a teacher once
A boat builder
As I made mistakes when building a my clinker row boat
He would say
There is nothing that cant be fixed
Maybe the Heavenly Goddess is a symbol of renewal
That there is nothing that cant be fixed
There just needs to be the will for renewal

In the bush with the wild horses

On a mountain top camp
On the coastÂ
The golden sandy beachÂ
Stretching to the horizon
Finding special places
Where human activity and nature blend
Winding along the roads less travelled
Finding the wild things
