Impressions of North West Spain – part 4, the culture.

Pouring sidr in Cangas de Onis

Yes the culture of Spain but the north west is a little different

Maybe it’s the Comino de Santiago

Or the hydrangeas that are every where

The pipes being played at the cathedral in Santiago de Compestela

Or could it be the thermal pools in Ourense, free for the public to use

But I think it’s the vast greenness and amazing Lakes and rivers.

  1. If you get a chance, try the Percebes (goose barnacles) in Galicia. I had them twice in the last month and they are never as big here as the ones in Spain. Love the Comino de Santiago reference. I do not know much about it but it set me off on researching šŸ™‚

      1. Awesome!! I can’t wait to read what you thought of them! And the cost if it was affordable there. Hope you are having fun!!
