Is it foreplay for the adventurer

Building up

long before the climatic act

 

Not all adventures are the same

There is the quick one

on a weekend

bit of the spur of the moment

by yourself just get away

On others the planning is long

The excitement building

 

This weekend was a quicky

with some friends

Into the mountains for the weekend

Cold icy roads

A rickety old isolated hotel

fires burning against the cold

 But the little jaunt did not diminish the building and expectations as I pencil in the stops in Europe

Nijmegen

Brugges,

Konigsfeld

Rudesheim

Lyon

Sete

Catalunya Pyrenees

And the planning is not finished

The adventure has not yet begun

The excitement is still building
