Wide open roads – Australia

View from the Moonbi lookout over the New England Highway, NSW, Australia

Australia is the land of the wide open roads

Long ribbons of highway stretching across a vast land

Twisty little roads through the mountains and the back blocks

Connecting quirky little villages

Iron Horses share the trough in Urana, NSW, Australia

Little rest areas along the road to make a cup of coffee out of the sun

Coffee and snack time at a roadside stop

And along the journey beautiful places to visit

New England National Park NSW, Australia

And at the end of the day the sunset filling the sky with colour

View from the balcony at the Canowindra Hotel

As the Australian band the Triffids said – Its a wide open road

  1. RhapsodyBoheme – Welcome to my little corner, the place where the thoughts of my deep thinking take flight and where I ponder the status quo and if "this" is really "it." You might have been there too, asking yourself if this is all there is to your life. I invite to explore the ups and downs I have encountered so far, how I worked through them, overcame, and even came to embrace them as lessons that I needed to learn. And yes, I mean even the tough ones. This blog started as an outlet for what I call my “Warriors Journey". It became a way to document and share my challenges and successes, plus allowed me to empty my mind when I felt others found it hard to relate. When I basically felt alone, trapped with an analytical mind that examined everything at a deeper level. Please check out my 'About me" page for a more in depth look and thank you for stopping by. Namaste 🙏🏼💙🦋
